TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made from Ghost Riders through our website.

Please read them carefully before placing an order. By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. ABOUT US

Trading Name: Ghost Riders

Registered/Business Address: [INSERT]

Throughout these Terms, "Ghost Riders", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the business identified above.

"You", "your" and "customer" refer to the person purchasing goods from us.

2. OUR PRODUCTS

We sell electric motorcycles, electric dirt bikes, parts, accessories and related products.

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications and prices are accurate.

Colours and appearance may vary slightly from photographs due to lighting, screens and manufacturer production changes.

Manufacturers may update specifications or components between production runs.

Where a particular specification is essential to your purchasing decision, please contact us before ordering.

3. HIGH-PERFORMANCE & OFF-ROAD VEHICLES

Many vehicles sold by Ghost Riders are high-performance machines.

Unless a vehicle is expressly advertised as road legal, customers should not assume that it can legally be used on UK public roads.

The customer is responsible for determining where and how a vehicle can legally be operated and for satisfying applicable requirements relating to matters such as registration, licensing, insurance and landowner permission.

Please read our separate Bike Safety, Legal Use & Important Information page before purchasing or operating a vehicle.

4. PLACING AN ORDER

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the goods shown in your order.

After receiving your order, we may send an automatic acknowledgement.

An acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that we have accepted your order.

A binding contract is formed when we accept your order, normally by confirming acceptance or dispatching the goods.

5. OUR RIGHT TO REFUSE OR CANCEL AN ORDER

We may refuse or cancel an order before dispatch where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • A product is unavailable.

  • There has been an obvious pricing or description error.

  • Payment has not been authorised.

  • We reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised payment.

  • We cannot deliver to the address provided.

  • A technical or inventory error has occurred.

  • We are legally prohibited from completing the sale.

If we cancel an order after receiving payment, we will refund amounts paid for the cancelled goods.

6. PRICES

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£).

Prices will include VAT where applicable unless clearly stated otherwise.

The price payable is normally the price displayed when you place your order, subject to correction of obvious errors where permitted by law.

Delivery or optional service charges will be displayed before completing your purchase where applicable.

7. PAYMENT

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

Your order may not be processed or dispatched until payment has been successfully authorised.

Where finance is selected, the purchase may also be subject to the terms, eligibility requirements and approval process of the relevant finance provider.

8. FINANCE

Where finance options are available, finance is subject to status, eligibility and the terms of the relevant finance provider.

Ghost Riders cannot guarantee that a finance application will be accepted.

Any finance illustrations displayed on our website are subject to the applicable lender's terms and final approval.

Where required, details of the relevant finance provider, broker and regulatory information will be displayed separately.

9. AVAILABILITY

All products are subject to availability.

Stock information is provided in good faith but occasional discrepancies may occur.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you and offer an appropriate solution, which may include cancellation and a refund.

10. PRE-ORDERS & COMING-SOON PRODUCTS

Where we accept pre-orders, estimated arrival or release dates are estimates only unless expressly guaranteed.

Manufacturer, importer, customs, transport or other delays outside our reasonable control may affect availability.

Where a delay materially affects your order, we will provide appropriate information and any cancellation rights required by law.

Products displayed as Coming Soon cannot be assumed to be available for purchase until expressly stated.

11. DELIVERY

Our available delivery services, charges, geographical restrictions, transit information and receiving instructions are explained in our separate Delivery Information page.

That policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address.

We are not responsible for problems resulting solely from inaccurate information supplied by the customer, subject to applicable law.

12. DELIVERY OPTIONS & ASSEMBLY

Depending on the product, customers may be offered standard delivery or an optional Fully Built Delivery service.

Bikes supplied through standard delivery may require final assembly and adjustment before use.

Customers selecting standard delivery are responsible for ensuring assembly and safety checks are carried out correctly.

Where you do not have appropriate knowledge or experience, we strongly recommend using a competent bike technician.

Our Fully Built Delivery service does not remove the need for normal pre-ride safety checks after transportation.

13. INSPECTION FOLLOWING DELIVERY

Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible following delivery.

If you notice transit damage, missing items or an incorrect product, contact Ghost Riders as soon as possible.

Where reasonably possible, photograph damaged packaging and products and retain the packaging while the matter is investigated.

Your statutory rights are not affected if you do not immediately discover a problem.

14. CANCELLATION RIGHTS FOR ONLINE PURCHASES

Consumers purchasing online may have a legal right to cancel eligible distance contracts without giving a reason.

For eligible goods, the statutory cancellation period is generally 14 days beginning after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods, subject to applicable exceptions.

If you wish to exercise a statutory cancellation right, you must clearly tell us within the applicable cancellation period.

Further details are contained in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

15. HANDLING GOODS DURING THE CANCELLATION PERIOD

Where you exercise a change-of-mind cancellation right, you may inspect goods to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning in a manner broadly comparable to what would reasonably be possible in a shop.

You are responsible for taking reasonable care of goods while they are in your possession.

Where permitted by law, we may make an appropriate deduction from a refund for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

For high-value electric motorcycles and dirt bikes, riding or using a vehicle beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it may significantly reduce its value.

16. RETURN COSTS

Where a customer exercises a change-of-mind cancellation right, responsibility for the direct cost of returning goods will be as stated in our Returns & Refunds Policy and in accordance with applicable law.

Different arrangements may apply where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

17. FAULTY GOODS

Goods supplied by Ghost Riders must meet applicable legal requirements, including being of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose where applicable and as described.

If you believe a product is faulty, contact us promptly.

Your legal remedies depend on the circumstances and the length of time since delivery.

Nothing in our warranty or these Terms replaces or limits your statutory rights.

18. WARRANTY

Products may include a manufacturer and/or Ghost Riders warranty.

Warranty terms vary by product.

A warranty is separate from your statutory consumer rights.

Please read our Warranty Policy for details.

19. WEAR, MAINTENANCE & CONSUMABLE COMPONENTS

Electric dirt bikes and motorcycles contain components that wear through normal use.

Depending on the vehicle, these can include tyres, brake pads, chains, sprockets, bearings, grips and other service items.

Normal wear and tear is not itself a manufacturing defect.

Customers are responsible for appropriate inspection, servicing and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.

20. MODIFICATIONS

Modification can affect a vehicle's safety, performance, reliability, legality and warranty.

Ghost Riders is not responsible for faults or damage caused by inappropriate, incompatible or incorrectly installed third-party modifications where the problem was not caused by us, subject to applicable consumer law.

Modifications do not remove statutory rights relating to unrelated defects that were our responsibility.

21. BATTERIES

Lithium-ion batteries must be charged, stored and maintained according to manufacturer instructions.

Only suitable charging equipment should be used.

Do not use or charge a battery showing signs of serious damage, swelling, overheating or other abnormal behaviour.

Please refer to our Bike Safety, Legal Use & Important Information page.

22. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

Customers are responsible for:

  • Operating products lawfully.

  • Following manufacturer instructions.

  • Carrying out appropriate pre-ride checks.

  • Maintaining products correctly.

  • Using suitable protective equipment.

  • Ensuring younger riders receive appropriate supervision.

  • Obtaining any necessary permissions, licences, registration or insurance.

  • Not knowingly operating an unsafe or damaged vehicle.

23. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation and any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to applicable law, Ghost Riders will not be responsible for losses caused solely by a customer's unlawful use, misuse, neglect, incorrect assembly, inappropriate modification or failure to follow manufacturer safety instructions where Ghost Riders has not breached a duty owed to the customer.

For consumers, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law.

We are not responsible for business losses suffered by a consumer purchasing products wholly or mainly for personal use.

24. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR REASONABLE CONTROL

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, subject to any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Where such circumstances materially affect your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and communicate with you.

25. PERSONAL INFORMATION

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy & Cookie Policy.

26. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms occasionally.

The Terms applicable to your purchase will generally be those in force when your contract with us is formed, except where a change is required by law or otherwise lawfully applies.

27. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

28. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom.

If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory protections and rights relating to where you live.
