WARRANTY POLICY

Last updated: August 2026

Ghost Riders wants customers to have confidence in the products they purchase from us.

This policy explains how warranty claims are handled.

A warranty is additional to your statutory consumer rights. It does not replace or reduce those rights.

1. WARRANTY COVERAGE

Products sold by Ghost Riders may be covered by a manufacturer warranty, a Ghost Riders warranty, or another warranty expressly stated on the relevant product page.

Warranty duration and coverage may differ between manufacturers, models and components.

The warranty applicable to your product will be the warranty communicated with the product or at the time of purchase.

If you are unsure which warranty applies to your bike, contact us with your order number and vehicle details.

2. WHAT A WARRANTY GENERALLY COVERS

Subject to the applicable warranty terms, warranty protection generally relates to manufacturing or material defects arising during normal intended use.

Depending on the product and circumstances, an accepted warranty claim may result in:

  • Inspection.

  • Diagnosis.

  • Repair.

  • Replacement of a defective component.

  • Replacement of the product where appropriate.

  • Another remedy required by law.

The appropriate remedy depends on the circumstances.

3. WHAT IS NOT NORMALLY A MANUFACTURING DEFECT

Subject to your statutory rights and the specific warranty applicable to the product, warranty coverage does not normally apply to problems caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Accidental or collision damage.

  • Misuse or abuse.

  • Incorrect assembly.

  • Incorrect maintenance.

  • Failure to maintain the vehicle.

  • Unauthorised or inappropriate modifications.

  • Incompatible aftermarket components.

  • Incorrect installation.

  • Racing or extreme use outside manufacturer specifications.

  • Improper storage.

  • Incorrect charging.

  • Water ingress caused by use outside the manufacturer's stated limitations.

  • External physical damage.

  • Continued use after a fault or warning has become apparent.

A warranty exclusion will only be applied where relevant to the problem being claimed.

4. WEAR ITEMS

Electric motorcycles and dirt bikes contain consumable components.

Depending on the vehicle, these can include:

  • Tyres and inner tubes.

  • Brake pads.

  • Brake discs where worn through normal use.

  • Chains.

  • Sprockets.

  • Bearings.

  • Grips.

  • Cosmetic finishes subject to ordinary wear.

  • Other normal service items.

Normal wear is not normally covered as a manufacturing defect.

Premature failure caused by an underlying defect will be considered separately.

5. BATTERIES

Battery performance naturally changes with age, charging cycles, temperature, storage and usage.

Normal gradual reduction in battery capacity is not necessarily a defect.

Battery warranty claims may require diagnostic information.

Damage resulting from incompatible chargers, unauthorised battery modification, significant physical damage or use contrary to manufacturer instructions may not be covered where those circumstances caused the fault.

If a battery swells, overheats, emits an unusual smell, appears significantly damaged or behaves abnormally, stop using and charging it immediately and contact us.

6. MODIFICATIONS

Performance modifications can place additional loads on electrical and mechanical components.

Modifying your bike does not automatically cancel every legal right you have.

However, a warranty claim may be declined where the claimed failure was caused by an unauthorised, incompatible or incorrectly installed modification.

Examples include modifications to:

  • Controllers.

  • Motors.

  • Batteries.

  • Firmware.

  • Wiring.

  • Gearing.

  • Suspension.

  • Braking systems.

  • Speed or power restrictions.

An unrelated modification should not be used to reject a valid claim where it did not cause or contribute to the fault.

7. MAINTENANCE

Customers are responsible for carrying out appropriate maintenance in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.

Failure to maintain a vehicle may affect warranty coverage where inadequate maintenance caused or materially contributed to the failure.

Keep appropriate servicing and maintenance records where possible.

8. MAKING A WARRANTY CLAIM

To make a claim, contact:

Email: [INSERT]

Please provide:

  • Your full name.

  • Order number.

  • Bike make and model.

  • Frame/VIN/serial number where applicable.

  • Current mileage or usage where available.

  • Description of the fault.

  • When the problem first occurred.

  • Photographs.

  • Video where useful.

  • Details of modifications.

  • Relevant maintenance/service information.

Providing this information can significantly speed up diagnosis.

9. DIAGNOSIS

We may ask you to carry out reasonable basic checks or provide additional photographs/video before arranging an inspection.

Do not dismantle safety-critical or high-voltage components unless appropriately qualified and instructed to do so.

Where physical inspection is necessary, we will explain the next steps.

10. TRANSPORTATION

Responsibility for transportation costs associated with a claim depends on the circumstances, applicable warranty and your statutory rights.

Where goods are legally non-conforming and we are responsible for providing a remedy, we will comply with our obligations regarding necessary costs.

Do not arrange expensive transportation without contacting Ghost Riders first unless reasonably necessary.

11. REPAIRS

Where repair is appropriate, we may repair the product ourselves, arrange repair through an authorised technician or provide another suitable remedy.

Unauthorised third-party repairs may affect warranty coverage where they cause additional damage or prevent us from reasonably assessing the original fault.

12. REPLACEMENT COMPONENTS

Replacement components supplied under warranty may be new or otherwise appropriate replacements permitted by the applicable warranty and law.

Where a manufacturer has superseded a component, an updated equivalent may be supplied.

13. CRASH & ACCIDENT DAMAGE

Warranty protection does not normally cover damage caused by crashes, collisions, falls or external impacts.

If you are unsure whether a failure resulted from an accident or underlying defect, contact us and we will assess the available evidence.

14. COMMERCIAL, COMPETITION & EXTREME USE

Where a product is used commercially, competitively or outside the manufacturer's intended conditions, different warranty conditions may apply.

Check the specific warranty applicable to your model before using the vehicle for racing or competition.

15. STATUTORY RIGHTS

This warranty is separate from your statutory rights.

A warranty expiry does not automatically mean you have no legal remedy where applicable consumer law provides one.

Nothing in this Warranty Policy limits or excludes rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
