RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

Last updated: August 2026

We want customers to purchase from Ghost Riders with confidence.

This policy explains how cancellations, returns, refunds, faulty goods and damaged deliveries are handled.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

1. CHANGE-OF-MIND CANCELLATIONS

If you are a consumer purchasing eligible goods online, you will generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after the day you receive the goods, subject to applicable legal exceptions.

You do not need to provide a reason.

To cancel, contact:

Email: [INSERT]

Please include your name and order number and clearly tell us that you wish to cancel your contract.

2. BEFORE DISPATCH

If you wish to cancel before your order has been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible.

Where cancellation is possible, we will stop the order and arrange an appropriate refund.

3. RETURNING GOODS AFTER CANCELLATION

After notifying us of an eligible cancellation, goods must normally be returned within the period required by applicable consumer law.

Please contact us before returning a bike so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.

Do not send a high-value bike to us without first arranging the return.

4. RETURN CONDITION

You may inspect goods as reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

You must take reasonable care of goods while they are in your possession.

For an electric dirt bike or motorcycle, extensive riding, off-road use, modification, damage or other handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the product may substantially reduce its value.

Where legally permitted, Ghost Riders may make an appropriate deduction from the refund to reflect diminished value caused by excessive handling.

5. RETURN PACKAGING

Where reasonably possible, bikes should be returned securely using suitable protective packaging.

We strongly recommend retaining the original bike packaging until you are satisfied with your purchase.

The customer is responsible for taking reasonable care to ensure a change-of-mind return is packaged appropriately for transport.

6. COST OF CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS

For eligible change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where we have informed you of that responsibility as required by law.

Electric motorcycles and dirt bikes are large and heavy products and specialist transportation may be required.

Please contact Ghost Riders before arranging transportation.

This section does not apply in the same way where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

7. REFUNDS

Where a valid statutory cancellation applies, we will issue the refund within the period required by applicable law.

We may be entitled to withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods back or you provide evidence that they have been returned, whichever occurs first, where the law allows.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

8. ORIGINAL STANDARD DELIVERY COST

Where legally required following cancellation of an eligible distance contract, we will refund the cost of our least expensive standard delivery method.

Additional amounts paid because you selected an enhanced or premium delivery service may not be refundable to the extent permitted by law.

9. FAULTY GOODS

Your rights concerning faulty goods are separate from the 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right.

Goods must meet applicable consumer law requirements.

If you believe your bike or another product is faulty, please contact us with:

  • Your order number.

  • A description of the problem.

  • Photographs where relevant.

  • Video evidence where useful.

  • Any error codes or diagnostic information available.

We may need to inspect the product before determining the appropriate remedy.

Your statutory remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

10. DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

If your order appears damaged on arrival, photograph the packaging before opening it where reasonably possible.

Please also photograph any damage to the product and contact Ghost Riders as soon as possible.

Retain the packaging while we investigate.

Using a third-party courier to deliver your order does not remove any rights you have against us where we arranged the delivery.

11. INCORRECT OR MISSING GOODS

If you receive an incorrect product or something is missing from your order, contact us as soon as possible.

We will investigate and arrange an appropriate remedy.

12. MODIFIED PRODUCTS

Products that have been modified may require additional inspection when returned.

A modification does not automatically remove your statutory rights.

However, Ghost Riders is not responsible for damage or faults actually caused by incompatible, unauthorised or incorrectly installed modifications for which we are not responsible.

13. NORMAL WEAR & TEAR

Normal wear resulting from use is not normally a product defect.

Examples may include wear to:

  • Tyres

  • Brake pads

  • Chains

  • Sprockets

  • Grips

  • Bearings

  • Other consumable/service components

This does not affect your rights where a component was defective or failed prematurely because the goods did not conform to the contract.

14. PERSONALISED GOODS

Statutory change-of-mind cancellation rights may not apply to goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised, where the applicable legal exception applies.

This does not remove rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.

15. FINANCE PURCHASES

Where goods were purchased using finance, refunds and cancellations may also need to be processed in accordance with the relevant finance agreement.

Contact us and, where appropriate, the finance provider before making alternative arrangements.

16. RETURNS ADDRESS

Do not return a bike without contacting us first.

Approved returns should be sent or transported to:

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or replace rights available to you under applicable UK consumer law.
